Been coming here since I was little and it hasn't changed one bit. My all time fave restaurant. Chicharrón's are always so fresh and tasty!!

Great little place to grab some delicious Dominican food! Very friendly and helpful staff. Probably my new favorite place for Dominican food. Their rice and penguin beans is so good. Their chicharrones is the winner. It's very crispy and greasy good.

If you don't speak Spanish you might have a hard time ordering but if you don't mind a lot of pointing and other forms of non-verbal communication, you will be highly rewarded. I got a the over fried chicken (super crispy and juicy), rice with black beans, some tostones, and a soda and it came out to like 8 bucks. The loud bachata playing makes me feel like I'm back in NYC. Definitely a to-go place. It's delicious cheap Dominican comfort food.

Pros-You can feed a family of four some authentic dominican food for $19 easily, with plenty of leftover rice. I recommend the rice with gandules, roast chicken and sweet plantains. Their pork dishes and tostones are great too. Cons-It's in the ghetto, parking is limited, and not all of the staff speak English so grab a menu by the register before getting in line so you can point out what you'd like if you're afraid of butchering the language. Wouldn't really recommend dining in.
